Zachary Alan Hancock-Bottom, 27, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia. He was born on January 18, 1993 in Sedalia, the son of Anthony W. and Christine D. (Hancock) Bottom, who reside in Sedalia.
Zack was a military child which gave him the opportunity to travel all over the world. Upon graduation from high school, he served as an infantryman in the U.S. Army. Zack enjoyed walking the Katy Trail, taking long drives in the country, playing video games and especially loved spending time with his daughter.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Saylor Zullig and his soul mate, Santasha Zullig of Sedalia; a brother, Axel Bottom of Sedalia; maternal grandparents, Larry and Sheri Hancock of Sedalia; paternal grandparents, John and Xu Bottom of Long Beach, CA; an aunt, Keri Harris of Sedalia; and a cousin, Addison Harris.
He was the great grandson of the late Wally and Shirley McCown and T.J. and Beulah Hancock.
A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Rea Funeral Chapel.
A devotion will be read at 7:30 p.m. by Pastor Jeff Randelman.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family to start a scholarship fund for Zack's daughter, Saylor in care of the funeral chapel.
