Obituary For Yuriy Grigoryev

Yuriy Vladimirovich Grigoryev, 53, of Sedalia passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at his home in Sedalia. He was born on August 20, 1962 in Dalnerechensk, Russia the son of Vladimir Gregoryevich Grigoryev of Vancouver, WA and Tatyana Yefimovna Sidorova, who preceded him in death.

On August 11, 1984, in Nahodka, Russia he was united in marriage to Lyudmila Petrovna Kovtun, who survives of the home.

Yuriy was a very kind loving husband to his wife Lyudmila, and an honored father of 8 children, Svetlana, Vladimir, Lily, Denis, Nadia, Olga, Peter & Andrey. He was so grateful to have lived to see his children grow up and create new families.

Yuriy was very involved in church all throughout his life. He served as a deacon and helped many people. He loved sharing the word of God, and was a blessing and example to many. He forever remains in our hearts, and his blessings live on!

Besides his father he is also survived by eight children, Svetlana and Tim Berezin of Sedalia, Vladimir and Nataliya Grigoryev of Sedalia, Liliya and Vitaliy Danilenko of Wellford, SC, Denis and Yelena Grigoryev of Sedalia, Nadia and Larry Zakharov of Duncan, SC, Olga and Petr Tsymbal of Columbia, MO, Peter and Amy Grigoryev of Sedalia and Andrey Grigoryev of Sedalia; 13 grandchildren, Eric, Leanna, Ella, Jacob, Leah, Olivia, Inessa, Lillian, Mila, Vanessa, Jason, Phillip, and Andrew; three brothers, Victor Grigoryev of British Columbia, Canada, Leonid Grigoryev of Portland, OR, Sergey Grigoryev of Russia; three sisters, Vera Polezhaev of Boiling Springs, SC, Lyudmila Chizhuk of Sacramento, CA and Yelena Lutsuk, Boiling Springs, SC.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Sedalia Tabernacle Church with Pastor Petr Tsymbal officiating.

A prayer service will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Sedalia Tabernacle Church.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Vladimir Grigoryev, Denis Grigoryev, Peter Grigoryev, Andrey Grigoryev, Vitaliy Danilenko, Larry Zakharov, Tim Berezin and Petr Tsymbal.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
