Virginia Payne

Virginia Payne passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Kansas City Hospice House. She was a native of Sedalia, MO. She was born on June 20, 1922 a daughter of Ernest and Ruth (Cramer) Schumaker, who preceded her in death. In June of 1948 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Everett E. Clark, who preceded her in death in May of 1983. Then in December of 1962 in Columbia, IL, she was united in marriage to Floyd G. Payne, who preceded her in death in September of 1994. She was a member of The Missouri Association of the Deaf and The American Legion Auxillary, Columbia, IL. She is survived by one son, Roy M. Clark and his wife Rhonda of Overland Park, KS; one grandson, Richey F. Clark of Olathe, KS; one great grandson, Cooper R. Clark of Olathe, KS; one sister, Ruby Ellis of Sedalia and two brothers, Kenneth and John Schumaker, both of Sedalia.Family will recieve friends on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. There will be a private graveside service held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at St. Paul's Cemetery, Columbia, IL.
