Vicki Lynn Wilson

Vicki Lynn Wilson, 66, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at her home in Sedalia. She was born on August 24, 1956, in Sedalia, the daughter of Henry Russell Cusick and Margaret Leellen Williams, who preceded her in death.

On October 22, 1988, in Sedalia, MO, she was united in marriage to Gregory Neal Wilson, who resides in the home.

Vicki attended Jefferson Elementary School and Smith-Cotton High School. She worked at several places but found her calling when she became the preschool teacher at Parkview Christian Preschool, a vocation for which she was perfectly suited.

Those who knew her know she had an infectious laugh and always had a funny story to tell. She will be missed by many.

She leaves behind to mourn her loss her husband, Greg; her children, Ian, and Emily (Rashad); and her grandchildren, Jordan and Alexis. Also surviving are brothers Buddy (Carol) and Ron, sister, Vonna (Dale), and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law, Margaret LaFavor, and sister-in-law, Andrea Cusick.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Emmet Avenue Baptist Church, 400 E. Walnut, Sedalia, MO.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Emmet Avenue Baptist Church in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
