Vernon Clifford Reed

Vernon Clifford Reed, 68, of Tipton, MO, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at his home. He was born on September 15, 1953 in Independence, MO the son of Everett Woodrow Reed and Betty Dean (Shull) Reed, who preceded him in death.

Vernon worked as a Certified Medical Technician at the Marshall Habilitation Center, Marshall, MO. He was an avid movie watcher and trivia buff. Vernon enjoyed working crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, listening to 50's and 60's easy listening music, and watching "Days Of Our Lives".

He is survived by a brother, Richard Reed of Tipton; a sister, Janice Kurtz of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Vernon was preceded in death by a sister, Marsha Peck.

A celebration of life gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
