Vasiliy Petrovich Limanskiy, 90, of Sedalia, Mo passed away on July 21, 2017 at University Hospital, Columbia, Mo.
He was born on March 3, 1927 in Issykul, Russia. He is the son of Petr and Agafia Limanskiy, life for them was not easy, before and after World War II.
On July 24, 1947 he was united in marriage to Nataliy Napriyenkova. They were married for 70 years.
In 1976 they lived in Valga, Estonia. In 1993 they moved with all of his family to the USA to Sacramento, CA and then to Sedalia In 2016.
Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Nadia, Lyuba, and Vera; two sons, Grigoriy and Viktor, 32 grandchildren and 100 great grandchildren.
Vasiliy loved to sing songs from his youth and enjoyed singing in the choir and preaching.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Ivan; two sisters, Maria and Panya; and one brother, Nikolay.
We will always remember him, as a beloved husband, father, grandfather and best friend.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Sedalia Tabernacle Church with Pastor Peter Tsymbal officiating.
A prayer service will be from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2017 at Sedalia Tabernacle Church.
Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
