Todd Neal Turns, 56, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, December 30th, 2016 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born May 22, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William Turns, who preceded him in death on March 1, 2016, and Nancy Turns, who resides in Sedalia. He graduated from Smith Cotton High School in 1978 and attended State Fair Community College. He was active in the American Legion Post 642 and the Moose Lodge1494. Besides his mother, he leaves behind his faithful companion, Linda Casey. He is also survived by Angel Barlow Bradley, who came into his life as a youngster and he became her surrogate father. They shared many happy memories as she was growing up. Besides his father, Todd was preceded in death by a brother, Bret Alan Turns, on November 19, 2016. Todd chose to be cremated and became a tissue and cornea donor. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Gary Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Boys and Girls Club.
