Thomas Leo Shull, 80, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. He was born on August 13, 1937, in Sedalia, the son of George W. and Rose E. (Paxton) Shull, who preceded him in death.
On April 6, 1961 he was united in marriage to Lea Etta Christine Rogers, who survives of the home.
He enjoyed gardening, especially his 200 Knock Out roses. He also loved taking care of his many animals, including many miniature horses, and making road trips across the country. He and Chris would often end up on the beaches of the deep south. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.
Besides his wife Chris, he is survived by his son, Brandy Shull (Clara) of Sedalia; daughter, Tari L. Dotson of Sedalia; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry Dale Shull (Mary Alice) of Smithton, MO, Dennis Shull (Kay) of La Monte, MO, and Donnie Brownfield (Sue) of Sedalia; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Shawn G. Shull; his step dad, Vernon Brownfield; step mother, Helen Shull; four brothers, Charles Wesley Shull, Allen Leroy Lee, Ronnie Brownfield, and James Wayne Shull.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating.
A family visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Cole Camp, MO in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
