Thomas Justin Horn

Thomas Justin Horn, 42, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at his home. He was born on November 18, 1977 in Sedalia, the son of Tom Horn, who resides in the home and Denise Ann Wells-Smith, who preceded him in death.

Justin was a 1996 graduate of Sacred Heart High School where he was active in soccer and basketball. He was an avid fan of all sports, especially the Oakland Raiders. Justin enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He had a quick wit and made all those around him smile.

In addition to his father Tom, he is survived by a son, Jackson Horn of Sedalia; two brothers, Alex Smith (Jennifer) and Matt Wells (Breanna), both of Sedalia; paternal grandmother, Joann Horn of Sedalia; maternal grandmother, Patricia Wells of Sedalia; stepfather, Dave Smith of Sedalia; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Denise, he was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Jack Horn, and maternal grandfather, LeRoy Wells.

A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2020 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until service time at the chapel.

Honorary bearers will be Todd Kriesel, George Bain, Matt Mergen, T.J. Allen, Brandon Wolfe, Dan Grose.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sedalia Boys and Girls Club in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
