Theresa Drum

Theresa Drum, 92, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on November 4, 2022, at Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw. She was born on August 5, 1930, in Ruma, Yugoslavia, the daughter of Johann and Juliana (Reinprecht) Hoffmann, who preceded her in death.

On November 25, 1954, in Regina Saskatchewan, Canada, she was united in marriage to Jakob Drum, who preceded her in death on February 8, 2000.

After their time in Canada, they moved to Chicago, IL, then moved to Smithton, MO, and finally, her last residence in Sedalia, MO. Theresa was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parrish St. Patrick's Chapel. Theresa enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, and baking. Her grandchildren were her greatest love. She will be greatly missed by all .

Theresa is survived by five children, John Drum (Terry) of La Monte, Jacob Drum of Sedalia, Julie Hensler "Drum" (Edward) of Okawville, IL, Jeffrey Drum of Cole Camp, and Joseph Drum (Regina) of Joplin; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Hoffmann.

Prayer services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with deacon Arvol Bartok officiating.

The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

The burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Drum, Jared Drum, Kio Drum, Jake Hensler, Luke Hensler, and Christian Drum.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Parrish St. Patrick's Chapel in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
