Theresa Ann Gerber

Theresa Ann Gerber, 68, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. She was born on December 24, 1949 in Sedalia, the daughter of Lester and Mabel (Wehmeyer) Chiles, who preceded her in death.

On September 28, 1968 in Versailles, MO, she was united in marriage to Doyle Raymond Gerber, who survives of the home.

After graduating from high school, Theresa attended beautician school and worked in Altus, OK. She operated Raymore Fabrics from 1985 to 1988 and D&T Quilt Shop from 1988 to 2018. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had many friends and was kind and respectful to everyone. Theresa's energetic spirit will be dearly missed.

Besides her husband, survivors include her daughter, Sally Beard (Robert) of Salcha, AK; sister, Carol Thomas (Robert) of Houstonia, MO; four grandchildren, Cristina Beard, Nicole Beard, Kyle Beard, and Paige Beard; and close loved ones, Samantha Beard, Barbara Hangas, and Mary Alfrey.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 1, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.

Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia, MO.

Pallbearers will be Danny Van Dyne, Robert Beard, Kyle Beard, Wesley McCoy, Gaylen Alfrey, and Travis Montgomery.

Honorary bearers will be Glenn Bottoms and Richard Hangus.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bothwell Cancer Center in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
