Obituary For Teddy Roy Williams
Teddy Roy Williams, 58, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his home. He was born on May 21, 1961 in Houston, MO, the son of Richard Pierce Williams, who preceded him in death, and Emma June (Rowen) Williams, who resides in Raymondville, MO.
On October 9, 2002 in St. Clair, MO, he was united in marriage to Donna J. Wood, who resides in the home.
Teddy worked as a diesel mechanic for over 40 years and has been with Swift Carriers at Marshall Junction for the past two years. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. Teddy enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his family. He was outgoing, fun loving and never met a stranger. Teddy will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who loved him.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by seven children, Derick Williams of St. James, MO, Tiffany Mooney (Kevin) of Cabool, MO, Ethan Crewes of Cabool, MO, Sara Beede (Tony) of Washington, MO, Joshua Layton of St. Louis, MO, Audrey Ziegler of St. Clair, MO, and Zebulan Ziegler of St. Clair, MO; 15 grandchildren; two brothers, Tommy Williams and Ricky Williams (Linda); two sisters, Sandra Bland and Amy Wilson (Bob) all of Texas County, MO; a brother-in-law, Arlo Anderson of Linn, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Anderson.
A graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Linn Cemetery, Linn, MO, with Rev. Ricky Williams officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army.
Burial will be at Linn Cemetery, Linn, MO.
Pallbearers will be Dale Wood, Jr., Elizabeth Hartman, Tony Beede, Sara Beede, Kevin Mooney, Zach Littlefield.
In liue of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
