Ted Stanley Law, 83, of Warsaw, MO passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO. He was born on December 10, 1931 in West Fork, Arkansas the son of Wallace Law and Maebelle Wringer, who preceded in death.
In October 1954 he was united in marriage to Ivy Mae Brown, who preceded in death. On May 20, 1978, in Raytown, MO he was united in marriage to Joyce Vaughn Tirado who survives of the home in Warsaw.
Ted was a member of Lakeside Chapel in Warsaw and VFW Post 5925 in Lincoln, MO. He worked as an executive chef in most major hotels in Kansas City, retiring in 1993. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army for nine years during the Korean Conflict serving in England learning his trade as a Chef.
After retiring, Ted enjoyed cooking at home for friends and family, going to bluegrass festivals, and playing bingo scratch off lottery tickets. He dearly loved his Boxer dog "Harley" who was known all over Warsaw and by members of Lakeside Chapel.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a sister, Ogell Eaton of Excelsior Springs, MO; two sons, Ted Ivan Law and Charles Law and his wife Veronica all of Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Terisa Eileen Law of Pineville, MO and Barbara Ann Trudell and her husband Rocky of Omaha, NE; two step daughters, Toni Jeffus and her husband James of Royse City, TX and Teresa Kay Kloiber and her husband Kelly of Kansas City, KS; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Lakeside Chapel in Warsaw with Rev Bob Kelly officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeside Chapel or VFW Post 5925 in Lincoln in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
