Susan Denise Hammond

Susan Denise Hammond, 68, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on August 23, 2024, at Ridge Crest Nursing Home in Warrensburg. She was born on August 6, 1956, in Sedalia, MO, the daughter of Clarence and Betty May (Cunningham), who preceded her in death.

Susan's professional journey began at Jensen in Sedalia when she was just 18. Her dedication and loyalty to the company were unwavering, a testament to her strong work ethic. She was also a fervent reader, often immersing herself in the pages of her favorite books.

Susan is survived by her son, Cody Hammond (Nicole); her sister, Debra Roberts (William); and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a granddaughter, Everly Mae Hammond, who will carry on her legacy of love and devotion to family and friends.

Besides her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her brother, Robert May.

Susan's love for her family and her beloved dogs was a source of immense joy and comfort throughout her life. Her spirit, filled with this love, will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
