Stephanie Lea Maldonado

Stephanie Lea Maldonado, 60, of Sedalia, MO passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born on October 31, 1961 in Ft. Leavenworth, KS, the daughter of Leo John Grabmeyer and Diane Eloise (Nesbitt) Grabmeyer, who preceded her in death.

On February 3, 2006 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Elmer Maldonado, who resides in the home.

Stephanie worked at Tyson Foods for 19 years. She enjoyed caring for her Quaker Parrots, "Baby" and "Micah". Stephanie loved the holidays especially Halloween and Christmas. She loved traveling to El Salvador, Guatemala, and Belize to visit family. Her grandchildren and family meant the world to her.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Brittany Sant; four sons, George Sant, John Sant, David Peak, and Rudy Maldonado all of Sedalia; many grandchildren; a brother, Phillip Jones of Shawnee Mission, KS; a sister, Diana Grabmeyer of Duluth, MN.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Jones; and her maternal grandmother, Marian Welch.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date by the family.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
