Shirley Diann Rollings

Shirley Diann Rollings, 63, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Primrose Retirement Community in Sedalia. She was born on November 8, 1959, in Sedalia, the daughter of Marvin Emry Rollings and Grace Loraine (Schneider) Rollings, who preceded her in death.

Shirley was a 1978 graduate of Smithton High School and attended CMSU in Warrensburg. She worked at Kim Originals, Town and Country Shoes, Rival Manufacturing, and finally, as an Architectural Draftsman for Wallace Architects in Sedalia. Shirley was an accomplished artist and used her skills to win the Smithton Town and County Fair Queen in 1977. She enjoyed gardening and was a master gardener. Shirley enjoyed going to the Sedalia Animal Shelter to help socialize the cats. She loved being around horses and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include a brother, Mark Rollings of Smithton, along with many friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Ron Jobe officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
