Sharon Wandzella Marshall, 63, of Sedalia passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia. She was born on March 15, 1951 in Sedalia, a daughter of Theodore and Georgia (Miles) Christian.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and making people smile and laugh. Sharon was a member of Quinn Chapel AME Church, Sedalia.
She is survived by three children, Swanetta Marshall of Sedalia, Yolanda Marshall of Columbia and Yomara Marshall also of Columbia; ten grandchildren, including three grandchildren she raised, Shapree, Porcha and Dreshawn Marshall all of Columbia; five great grandchildren; one sister, Anelda Wilson of Washington DC, Sandra Williams (Floyd) of Sedalia, Roberta Dunn (Jack) of Columbia and Constance Christian of Sedalia; four brothers, Theodore Christian (Marie) of Columbia, Henry Christian of Temple, AZ, Ronald Christian of Sedalia and Rickey Christian also of Sedalia.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, TreVeon Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 13, 2014 at Quinn Chapel AME Church, Sedalia with Pastor Nicole Pledger and Maurice Miles officiating.
Family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am, until service time.
Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Christian, Lance Williams, Antonio “Huey” Pantoya, Michael Hawkins, Ronald “Muscles” Williams, Art Williams, Craig Christian and Eddie Scroggins.
Honorary bearers will be Kay and Darwin Finley and Carol Ann and Charles Brown.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Quinn Chapel AME Church in care of the funeral chapel.
