Sharon Jean Mcginnis

Sharon Jean McGinnis, 76, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born on September 29, 1942 in Hamilton, MO, the daughter of John and Beatrice (Reuland) Lotz, who preceded her in death.

Sharon loved to talk and enjoyed reminiscing on the past. She liked to take boat rides on Stockton Lake with her friends and play cards. She never met a stranger.

Survivors include three children, Toby Morrill (Rhonda), Jody Morrill (Marla Helms), and Melody Morrill; two brothers, Morris Lotz and Jerry Lotz (Vilma); one sister, Leanna Williams; four grandchildren, Tonya Crouch (Matt), Rachel Fletcher (Ron Garrison), Joshua Morrill (Ashley Paris), and Jeremy Morrill (Cristy); seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; special friends, Anita Busker and Pat Wells; and many other friends and family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Lotz and Jackie Lotz; her brother-in-law, Danny Williams; and her beloved dog, Tooter.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral chapel.
