Scott Allen Frakes

Scott Allen Frakes of Sweet Springs, MO passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at his home in Emma. He was born on December 27, 1978 in Carrol, MO the son of Raymond Michael Frakes and Delilah Lynn (Swearingin) Baldwin, both who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Teresa (Hemphill) Frakes; his daughter, Ashley; son, Ryan; and his brother, Mark Wintch of Corpus, Christie, TX.

Scott grew up in Sweet Springs, MO. He attended Sweet Springs High where he played football. A sport which he loved. Scott moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2007 working for Shultz/Boeing and later TJX Industries. Scott was a wonderful and loving father. You could find him either coaching his son’s little league or showing his daughter how to play softball. He most recently moved back to Sweet Springs at the end of 2019.

Scott was an extremely warmhearted, caring individual. He always had a smile on his face and willing to help anyone in need. If you ever had the opportunity to meet him, he was not easily forgotten. Scott will be greatly missed.

A service date for Scott is TBD (due to COVID travel restrictions). The service and Celebration of Life will include his ashes being placed within his mother’s resting site in Carrollton, MO.
