Obituary for Sandy Gail Coleman
Sandy Gail Coleman, 64, of Sedalia, MO passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at her home. She was born on August 7, 1956, the daughter of J. D. Allen who preceded her in death and Polly Jane (Chapman) Allen, who resides in Williamson, WV.
On July 8, 1988 in Annapolis, MD, she was united in marriage to Brad Coleman, who resides of the home.
Sandy was a dedicated educator for 38 years, working in the public school system. She enjoyed boating on the lake, fishing and socializing with her many friends. Sandy was a member of Chattaroy Missionary Baptist Church, Chattaroy, WV.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael Coleman (Beth) of Sedalia and Van Hatcher of Kansas City; one brother, Toby Allen (Michelle) of Williamson, WV; one granddaughter, Hannah Coleman of Wilmington, NC; one grandson, Gage Hatcher of Sedalia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life and gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
Burial will be at a later date at Mountain View Memory Gardens in Mayor, WV.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter in care of the funeral chapel.
