Sandra Jane Williams, 76, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on March 7, 1947, in Independence, MO, the daughter of Gerald Justin Smalley and Dorothy "Tobie" Lucille (Pence) Smalley, who preceded her in death.
On March 22, 1963, in Independence, MO, she was united in marriage to Ray Leroy Williams, who preceded her in death on February 21, 2007.
Sandi moved to Excelsior Springs, MO, after her marriage to Ray, where they raised their family. She loved to dance. She taught jazz, tap, and ballet lessons to all ages in the mid-1970s. In the early 1980s, she obtained her real estate license and sold real estate for a few years. Sandi loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed all animals, especially their horses and dogs. Sandi was a Christian and attended Old Union Church in Lawson, MO, prior to moving to Sedalia in 2017.
Survivors include two children, Ray Lee Williams of Holt, MO, and Tobie Beyer and her husband, Don of Cole Camp; a grandson, Alex Beyer; two brothers, Gerald Smalley, Jr., and Rob Smalley and his wife, Lisa, all of Lawson, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, Sandi was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Beyer.
A graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Old Union Church Cemetery, 17990 N. Union Rd., Lawson, MO, 64062. with Pastor Mike Polo officiating.
