Samantha Rose Friend

Samantha Rose Friend, 53, of Sedalia passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on October 25, 1968 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Garney Hall and Linda Sue (Hicks) Hall, who preceded her in death.

On January 9, 2012 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Jesse L. Friend, who resides in the home.

Samantha worked at Casey’s on South Limit. She enjoyed camping, fishing, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Samantha spent a lot of time on Snapchat, playing with filters and making funny videos. Anything to put a smile on everyone’s face.

In addition to her husband she is survived by four children, Brandon Hall of St. Joseph, MO, Conchetta Wolfe of Vandella, MO, Brittany Williams and her husband Skylar of St. Joseph, MO, and Lynn Wolfe of Sedalia; thirteen grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Hall of Sedalia and Ramona Mefford and her husband David of Sedalia.

A celebration of life gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
