Obituary For Russell Bradbury
Russell "Russ" Edward Bradbury, 56, of Sedalia, MO passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 in Kansas City, MO as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on September 26, 1964 in Lexington, MO the son of Francis Lewis Bradbury who preceded him in death and Donita (Pottorff) Bradbury, who resides in Green Ridge, MO.
On April 27, 1991 in Higginsville, MO he was united in marriage to Sherry Lynn Small, who preceded him in death on May 9, 2016.
Russ was baptized and confirmed on June 28, 1992 and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Sedalia. He worked at Maxion Wheels for over 26 years and was currently the Advanced Quality Engineer. Russ enjoyed going to the lake with his family and great friends Eric and Jennifer Langston, where they enjoyed fishing and boating. He was a proud father, husband, and friend to all. He was extremely proud of both of his kids. He loved going to his sons baseball games and was honored to see his daughter begin her journey in the Army National Guard. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by two children, Steven Bradbury and Sarah Bradbury both of the home; his significant other, Susan A. Ronning of Boonville; a brother, Eric Bradbury of Clinton, MO; his mother, Donita Bradbury of Green Ridge, MO; a nephew, Jameson Bradbury; a niece, Danielle Bradbury; and many cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Jeremy Freeman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the church.
Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia, MO.
Pallbearers will be Eric Langston, Jennifer Langston, Tim Mueller, Scott Petree, Kenny Angle, and Kelly Brace.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or the Sedalia Animal Shelter.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
