Roy Miller

Roy Lee Miller, 55, of Sedalia passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at his home. He was born on November 21, 1958 in Sedalia a son of Juanita Miller, who preceded him in death.

On August 15, 1992 he was united in marriage to Sheri (Welsh) Miller who survives of Lee’s Summit, MO.

Roy loved playing the guitar, singing and watching the news. He enjoyed spending time fishing, camping and especially spending time with his grandkids. Roy served his country honorably in the US Navy.

He is survived by four children, Lucas Miller and his wife Heather of Sedalia, Katrina Miller of Sedalia, Karena Miller of Columbia and Brandon Welsh of Oak Grove; one brother, Dennis Sanders of Sedalia; uncle and aunt, Jack and Marlene Miller of Smithton and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rob Ayers officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

A private committal will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia at a later date.
