Obituary For Rosemary Hawley

Rosemary Hawley, 83, of Richmond, VA, formerly of Sedalia, MO, passed away Thursday, July 30th, 2015 at Parkside Assisted Living Center, Richmond, VA. She was born on March 16, 1932 in Sedalia, MO, the daughter of Herman and Augusta (Weller) Dick.

On August 7, 1950 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sedalia, MO, she was united in marriage to William "Bill" Hawley, who preceded her in death on July 8, 2008.

Rosemary enjoyed sewing, knitting, baking, and playing cards. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sedalia.

She is survived by eight children, Mike Hawley of Cramerton, NC, Connie Lapinskas (Joe) of W. Lafayette, IN, Brenda Fox (Jerry) of Manakin Sabot, VA, Linda Karigan (Jeff) of Mint Hill, NC, Tom Hawley (Sherry) of Cary, NC, Carol Jobe (Ron) of Sedalia, MO, John Hawley of Hardy, VA, and Dan Hawley of Williamsburg, VA; three brothers, Kenneth Dick of Sedalia, Bobby Dick (Deloris) of Warrensburg, MO, and Jim Dick (Judy) of Sedalia; fourteen grandchildren, Julie Carlyle (Tom), Kurt Hawley, Sarah Sumner (Luke), Kirk Hawley (Jen), Joe Lapinskas (Brandy), Rich Fox, Kristen Herren (Matthew), Christina Lapinskas, Kirstin Croucher (Luke), Caleb Jobe (Lauren), Mak Karigan, Ryan Hawley, Riley Hawley (Caitlin), and Victoria Hawley; and fifteen great grandchildren, Logan, Jackson, and Julianna Carlyle; Noah, Abby, and Julia Sumner; Mackenna, Kendall, and Harper Hawley; Joseph M. Lapinskas; Eli, Eden, Jobe, and Esther Herren; and Finley Croucher.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia McKinney and Katheryn Logan; and one brother, Billy Dick.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO, with Ron Jobe officiating.

The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or Ascend Hospice of Glen Allen, VA, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO.
