Rosa Cardenas De Aguilar

Rosa Cardenas De Aguilar, 67, of La Monte, MO passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, at her home. She was born on January 2, 1954 in Puruandiro, Michoacan, Mexico the daughter of Rodrigo Cardenas and Lucia (Martinez) Cardenas, who preceded her in death.

In September of 1970 in Michoacan, Mexico she was united in marriage to Ruperto Aguilar, who resides in the home.

Rosa was a member of Iglesia Pentecostal del Nombre de Jesus in Sedalia. She worked for Tyson Foods for 19 years. Rosa enjoyed cooking for her family and was known for having the best tacos. She especially loved spending weekends with all her children and grandchildren. Rosa was the best wife, mother, and grandmother. Rosa will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband she is survived by six children, Adan Aguilar and his wife Lupe Zapata, Pompeya Aguilar and her husband Salvador Corona, Imelda Aguilar and her husband Javier Garcia, Silvo Aguilar and his wife Lupe Aguilar, Mayra Tolentino and her husband Salvador Tolentino, and Angel Aguilar; six siblings, Eloy, Jose, Margarita, Marielena, Juan, and Ismael Cardenas; many grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Alicia Cardenas; a brother, Ramon Cardenas; and a grandson, Josue Tolentino.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the Iglesia Pentecostal del Nombre de Jesus with Pastor Reynaldo Martinez officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.

Pallbearers will be Pompeya Aguilar, Imelda Aguilar, Silvo Aguilar, Mayra Tolentino, Jose Aguilar, and Angel Aguilar.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
