Roger Dale Pottorff Sr., 74, of Lincoln, MO passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at his home. He was born on March 30, 1947 in Otterville, MO the son of Robert Pottorff and Etta Marie (Jenkins) Pottorff, who preceded him in death.
On October 13, 1978 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Brenda Elaine Walker, who resides in the home.
Roger was 1965 graduate of Cole Camp High School. After graduation Roger worked for the shoe factory in Windsor, MO. Later, he worked as a builder for several construction companies across the country most of his working career. Roger loved arrowhead hunting with family and friends. Going on big camp out party's with friends and going to the "Boat" as he called it and trying to win the big one. Roger especially loved his boys, grandkids, and spending time with family and friends at Steve's Korner Lounge.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Paul Fletcher (Jenny) of Sedalia, Roy Pottorff, of Lincoln, and Roger Pottorff, Jr. (Tracy) of Mt. Vernon, MO; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Gary Pottorff (Shelly) of Green Ridge, MO.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kayla E. Fletcher; three brothers, Robert, Roy and Jerry Pottorff; and a sister, Patsy Cotten.
A graveside memorial service and burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln, MO with Pastor Phillip Fisher officiating.
Honorary bearers will be his grandchildren, Paul, Jr., Cory, Carson, Blake, Christopher, Trevor, Trinity, Lacey, and Joe.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
