Obituary For Roger "Dale" Kearney

Roger "Dale" Kearney, 63, of Sedalia, passed away on Saturday, July 16th, 2016 at his home. He was born on February 20, 1953 in Sedalia, the son of Don R. and Jane L. (Dillon) Kearney, who preceded him in death.

On July 10, 1971 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Sheilah D. Robinett, who survives of the home.

Dale enjoyed camping, working with the church tech team, his grandkids, and going to the Moose Lodge where he was the treasurer.

Besides his wife, he is survived by five children, Mike Kearney (Amy) of Sedalia, Teddy Kearney (Candice) of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Jeff Kearney (Amanda) of Sedalia, James Looney (Michelle) of Edgar Springs, MO, and Amanda Balke (Keith) of Sedalia; one brother, Terry Kearney (Martie) of Sedalia; 13 grandchildren, Haley Kearney, Michael Kearney, Jr., Abby Kearney, Starr Benscoter, Whitney Kearney, Bentley Kearney, Zayn Parker, Liam Kearney, Sean Balke, Courtney Balke, Devon Balke, Christopher Courter, and Christina Courter; one step-grandson, Karson Lehmann; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Celebration Center, Sedalia, with Pastor Jim Downing officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Celebration Center.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be Mike Kearney, Teddy Kearney, Jeff Kearney, Mike Kearney, Jr., Sean Balke, and Keith Balke.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
