Robin Louise Wallace

February 7, 1963 — November 28, 2024

Robin Louise Wallace, 61, of Sedalia, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 28, 2024. She was born on February 7, 1963, in Sedalia, and remained until her passing.

Robin Louise lived most of her life outside of the city. She was a dedicated daughter to her parents, and at a young age, a loving aunt to her siblings' children.

At nineteen years old, she married her first husband, Patrick, and they had two children, Sarah and Wesley. She told them frequently they were the light of her life. On December 20, 2002, in Sedalia, MO, she married her second husband, Tommy Wallace. She shared her infinite amount of love with his children. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2017.

She was one of the best mothers anyone could hope for. She was kind, protective, and fun. She made sure that her children knew that she loved them. She loved all children, but she had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. She also loved animals and had several dogs and cats that were special to her during her lifetime. When she could, she loved to spend time outside. Tommy and Robin would frequently go fishing, or just travel the gravel roads together.

She was an avid reader; she had notecards documenting each book she read. Her favorite books were fantasy based, and contained realities steeped in magic.

Robin was always upbeat and remained positive even when life was difficult. She was a bright beacon of light, even in dark days. Strangers frequently stopped her in public; her friendliness and care radiated through her. She talked to strangers as if she had always known them. Her strength and determination never waned; she consistently achieved her goal when she set her mind to it.

She loved music and would take comfort in it when no comfort could be found. She went to many concerts, not only rock and roll but orchestra music also.

She was able to cross off a bucket list item at the age of 59 when she saw her favorite artist live for the first time. She traveled to the East Coast, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Nevada.

But when asked what her final resting place would be, she wanted to be someplace beautiful and peaceful. Such a place will be found, but it will not equal the beauty of her soul.

Robin Wallace leaves behind a great legacy of love, one that will not be forgotten.

Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Broadbent (Steve), and a son, Wesley O'Neill, all of Sedalia; five siblings, Nancy Ash, Marcie Landon (Mike), John Warren (Jean), Isaac Warren, all of Sedalia, and Tim Warren (Yvonne) of Shell Knob, MO; two grandchildren, DeWayne and Hazel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, Robin was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Warren.
