What a shock to hear Bob had passed away. My condolences and prayers to the family and friends. I occasionally spoke to Bob on Facebook, but probably hadn't seen him in 40+ years. I have many fond memories from years ago - - riding around Sweet Springs in his Chrysler - talking to "Custer" on the CBs - being a member of the first Explorer post he started in Sweet Springs - shooting black powder rifles and pistols - sharing his excitement over getting his first Walther PPK pistol and Triumph motorcycle - all the hikes, camping trips, and float trips we went on - working Civil Defense in Sweet Springs during storm season and the list goes on and on and on. You will be sorely missed my friend. Silent Keys KE0CYR de KE8GWX Robert Ohrenberg

Well I am going to miss that man. I have been trying to get back and see him over the last two years. Just couldn't travel there. I was the First President of the Explorer Scout Group In Sweet Springs with Bob as our leader. We learned a lot from him, campouts, rifle range, cookouts. We shot black powder guns, rifles and pistols in the park in Sweet Springs for the 1776/ 1976 Bicentennial Celebrations during that year. Bet you couldn't do that today. Rest in piece, Bob Callie Farr
