Obituary For Robert David Frye

Robert David Frye, 77, of Otterville, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at his home. He was born on September 1, 1938 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Robert and Loretta (Lenover) Frye, who preceded him in death.

On September 3, 1987 he was united in marriage to Rhonda (Marcum) Huddleston, who survives of the home.

David was a very intelligent man who enjoyed woodworking and helping his family. His woodwork included small toys for his grandchildren, clocks, and furniture for his wife and children. He retired from the United Parcel Service after thirty years of service. He also worked at PDQ Auto Parts for six years until his full retirement.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Chris Frye and Mitzi of Sedalia, Daniel Frye of Newman, CA, and Tim Frye of the Philippines; a daughter, Coleen Morales of Newman, CA; a stepson, Shawn Huddleston and Kim of Otterville, MO; two stepdaughters, Dawn Johnson and Luke of Otterville and Brooke Baugher and John of Washington, NC; two sisters, Ellen Pleiman of Denver, CO, and Monica Denning and Albert of Denver, CO; sixteen grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty DePina, Deloris Smulders, and Roberta Frye; a grandson, Tony Lee Frye.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Father Mark Miller officiating.

The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service with a Rosary being conducted at 10:30 a.m.

There will be a private family burial held at a later date.
