Obituary For Rebekah Whittaker

Rebekah Sue Whittaker, 59, of Sedalia passed away Monday, December 09, 2013, on her husband’s birthday at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born on February 6, 1954 in Denver, CO a daughter of Delmar D. Weaver, who survives of Springfield and Alice J. (Turner), who preceded her in death.

On July 1, 1978 in San Jose, CA she was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Whittaker, who survives of the home.

Rebekah played the piano and enjoyed to sing. She loved and was faithful to the Lord. She especially loved to read her bible. Rebekah was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, Sedalia.

She is survived by two sons, Daniel Whittaker of Sedalia and Nathan Whittaker of Billings, MT; two grandchildren Tim and Elise and their mother, Vicki Whittaker of Great Falls, MT; three sisters, Pat (Boyd) Stevenson of Warrensburg, Edith (Paul) Mortiz of Springfield and Debby (Tim) Hill of Montana.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Tim Rehmer officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Rea Funeral Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of the funeral chapel.
