Obituary For Rebecca Belle Hawkins
Rebecca Belle Hawkins, 55, of Sedalia, MO passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at her home. She was born on May 12, 1965 in Sedalia, the daughter of Allen Lee Hawkins Jr. who resides in Sedalia and Shirley Anne (Brownfield) Hawkins, who preceded her in death.
Becky loved spending time with her many family and friends. She loved cooking and was the manager of Salvation Army Store for several years. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church where she was the first female acolyte and served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of VFW #2591 Women Auxiliary and American Legion #642 Ladies Auxiliary. Becky cooked many meals for the VFW and American Legion, which was her favorite passion. Becky was always willing to volunteer her time at the Pettis County election polls.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a daughter, Laura Hawkins of Sedalia; five brothers, Mike L. Hawkins (Barbara) of Sedalia, Gregory A. Hawkins (Marsue) of Ashland, MO, John D. Hawkins of Sedalia, Allen L. Hawkins III of Melbourne, FL, and Mark A. Hawkins (Michelle) of Sedalia; a sister, Lee Anne Hawkins of Sedalia; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by; a brother Evert Hawkins, her niece, Stacie Bachtel Reynolds; and two sisters-in-law, Marcy Hawkins and Diane Hawkins.
A Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Calvary Episcopal Church with Mother Anne Kyle officiating.
A private inurnment will be held immediately following the service at Olive Branch Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Laura Hawkins in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Becky will be dearly missed by the veteran community. Her cheerful hart and joyous smile touched so many. My deepest and most sincere condolences go out to the entire family. Becky was so dear to my mother through church. I will always remember her scooting along on her moped.
