Ralph Henry Kreisel, Jr., 72, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on July 24, 2016, peacefully at his home with his wife by his side and surrounded by family. He was born on April, 16, 1944 in Sedalia, the son of Ralph Kreisel, Sr. and Helen (Strelow) Kreisel.
On February 20, 2008 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Regina (Kay) Kreisel, who survives of the home.
He worked as a shipping supervisor for Alcan Cable for 30 years before retiring. He then worked for Ditzfeld Transfer for 10 years. Immediately after retirement he turned his, then part-time, food service, Mark's Bro's Food Service, into a full-time business. He loved working the MO State Fair, taking care of the fair vendors.
Ralph also enjoyed playing softball, shuffleboard, and darts, spending time on his parent's farm, tea night with his three life-long buddies, Mark Thompson, Butch Walker, and Mark Stockstill, and being with his family and loving grandkids. He was a member of Masonic Granite Lodge, Sedalia Elk Lodge, Sedalia Moose Lodge, and Shrine Club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Halena Smith, of Sedalia, Kelly Miller, of Hughesville, and Kathleen (Katie) Kreisel-Sisemore, of Sedalia; three step-children, Kelley Michelle (Scotty) Twenter, of Sedalia, JD Schilb, of Belton, and Justin Thompson, of Gardner; his father, Ralph Kreisel, Sr., of Sedalia; three siblings, William Kreisel, of Blue Springs, Sandra Fleak, of Kirksville, and Deann Crockett, of Ozark, and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Kreisel.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016, at the American Legion, Sedalia.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
