Obituary For Phyllis Schlobohm

Phyllis Ann Schlobohm, 76, of Smithton, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at her home. She was born on March 12, 1941 in Warsaw, MO, the daughter of Charlie D. and Beulah (Buckmaster) Crews, who preceded her in death.

On December 10, 1967 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Virgil Schlobohm, who resides of the home.

She was a member of Lake Creek Methodist Church, Smithton. She worked for Rival Manufacturing until she and Virgil were married. She worked for Allen chicken hatchery in Windsor before starting her own home based business making and selling ceramics. Phyllis had a big love for all animals and wildlife. In her final years she especially loved taking care of her grandson, Coby, and her grand dog, Shalom.

In addition to her husband Virgil, she is survived by a son Len Schlobohm of Smithton; a daughter, Shirley Schlobohm of Smithton; a sister, Virginia Bouye of Topeka, KS; and a grandson Coby Schlobohm of Cole Camp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Mothersbaugh; and three brothers, Leonard Crews, Gerald Crews, and A. Gale Crews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bill Smart, officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Coby Schlobohm, Leonard Crews, Don Crews, Charlie Crews, Jared Crews, and Shawn Mathers.
