Patsy D. Forsee

Patsy Darlene Forsee, 86, of Sedalia, passed away May 15, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO. She was born on August 5, 1934, in Columbia, MO the daughter of Rube Morris and Edith B. Morris, who preceded her in death.

On December 19, 1954, in Columbia, MO she was united in marriage to Dudley Gene Forsee, who preceded her in death on December 29, 2011.

Patsy worked as a bank teller at Smithton Bank. She and her husband Dudley owned and operated a crafting business and were a member of the Silver Dollar City Craft Guild. Patsy enjoyed crafting, flower gardening, her pets and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Joe Forsee (Terssia) of Sedalia; a daughter, Brenda Balke (Ted) of Sedalia; six grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren;

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Forsee; a brother, Carl Morris; a sister, Betty Lee; and a great-grandson, Tommy Lee Balke, Jr.

A celebration of life gathering of family and friends will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

A private burial will be at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
