Patrick Edward Wagner Sr.

Patrick Edward Wagner Sr. "Pat", 87, of Sedalia, MO passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 20, 1933 in Pettis County, MO, the son of Forrest and Julia (Wallace) Wagner, who preceded him in death.

On June 21, 1985 in Sedalia, MO, he was united in marriage to Glenda Mae Wagner (Wesselmann), who survives of the home.

Pat worked for Civil Service for 30+ years, in two locations; Ft Leavenworth, KS and Whiteman Air Force Base, MO. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. Pat could often be found tending to the vegetables in his garden. He loved spending time with his family and was fondly known by his nieces and nephews as, "Uncle Paddy".

Pat is survived by one son, Patrick Jr (Rene) of Sedalia, MO; one daughter, Cori Byerly (Mike) of Warsaw, MO; one step-son, Matthew Riggins of Columbia, MO; three step-daughters, Amy Tucker (Scott) of Bentonville, AR, Cythia Cashman (Ryan) of Ann Arbor, MI, Theresa Linski (Matt) of Olathe, KS; twelve grandsons; one granddaughter; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Steve Wagner (Lynn) of Sedalia, MO; and two sisters, Georgia Hunsaker (Clem), and Cathy Wagner, both of Sedalia.

Pat was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Marie Jones; five siblings, Margie, Jim, Nancy, Dorothy Mae, and Judy.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Sacred Heart Chapel, Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 10:00 am with Father David Veit officiating.

A Rosary and visitation will be held one hour prior to Funeral Mass.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, MO.

Pallbearers will be Justin Wagner, Joshua Wagner, Brandon Wagner, Luke Wagner, Andrew Underwood, and Ryan Underwood.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's or Shriner's Children's Hospitals in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
