Norman W. Zinck Jr.

Norman W. Zinck Jr., 60, of Sedalia, MO, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 19, 2024. He was born on September 16, 1964, in Jersey Shore, PA, the son of Diana Lee (Heverly) Clarke, who resides in Glasgow, MO.

On July 12, 1997, in Mehoopany, PA, Norm married the love of his life, Ginny Witter, who survives him in their home.

Norm graduated from Warrior Run High School in Turbotville, PA, in 1982. He later completed his Master's in Business Management through the University of Phoenix. Norm dedicated most of his career to working at Alcan Cable. He then worked as a Plant Manager at Milbank Manufacturing in Kansas City before returning to Sedalia to take on the same role at Zephyr Manufacturing. Most recently, Norm served as the Vice President of Operations at the Center for Human Services.

Norm was a member of the First United Methodist Church Celebration Center and actively participated in Sedalia Ducks Unlimited, where he started as a volunteer and later became the State Chairman for Missouri Ducks Unlimited. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, camping, and all things outdoors. Above all, he cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren who brought him immense joy and brightened his smile.

In addition to his wife and mother, Norm is survived by three daughters, Sara Crissman (Jeremy) of Trout Run, PA, Paige Gilbert (Garrett) of Lee's Summit, MO, and Cheyanne Shaw (Mitchell) of Sedalia; two grandchildren, Maya and Myles Gilbert; a brother, Tracey Zinck of Glasgow, MO.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joey Zinck.

A celebration of life gathering with family and friends will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sedalia Ducks Unlimited or the American Cancer Society in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
