Nancy Deane (Vaught) Jett

Nancy Deane (Vaught) Jett (82) passed away surrounded by her husband and children at Good Samaritan Nursing Home on December 1, 2022.

She was born at home on June 24, 1940 the youngest of 9 children to William Vaught and Jeannette (Duell) Vaught in Sedalia MO. She graduated Smith Cotton High School in 1958. She was united in marriage to Pearly John Jett at St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sedalia MO on April 27, 1960. The marriage was blessed with 4 children: Jennie Cochran (Jerry), Connie Daoust(Chris), Debbie Vaughn (Bill), and Danny Jett (Jean), 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She stayed at home and raised her children. She loved to cook for her family. She joined Beta sigma phi sorority over 50 years ago and love being with her sisters. She was proceeded in death by her parents and 7 of her siblings.

Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
