Myrna Lynn Mills

Myrna Lynn Mills, 56, of Sedalia passed away July 30, 2021, after a long illness at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO. She was born on June 28, 1965 in San Jose, CA the daughter of Eddie Marquis Newland and Mary K. (Herrick) Robinson.

On November 17, 2007 in Pilot Grove, MO. at Pilot Grove Baptist Church she was united in marriage to David Mills, who survives of the home.

Myrna was a very good-hearted and generous woman. She would do anything she could to help someone in need. She enjoyed doing different types of crafts in her free time and loved spending time with her family. Myrna was a very family oriented person and always wanted to include everyone. She was also known as a very good cook. She especially liked cooking for big crowds. She collected a few different types of figurines to include; dolphins and angels. She also was very involved in helping the Boy and Girl Scout. She was always a strong supporter of her children and all of their endeavors. Myrna always needed to have an up to date picture of her family members. Myrna was an active member of a New Life Ministries in Sedalia.

Besides her husband, Myrna is survived by her mother Mary K. Robinson, of Sedalia; three children Casey Pemberton (Lizzie) of Clarksburg, MO, Lisa Kretzmann (Johnathan), of Greenfield, MO, Amber Taylor, of Mahomet, IL; two siblings Kirk Newland (Sharon) and Mellisa May (Ralph), both of Sedalia; one sister-in-law Janice Troupe (George) of Bunceton, MO; numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Myrna was preceded in death by her father Eddie Marquis Newland; two brothers David and Randy Newland.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at New Life Ministries in Sedalia.

Burial will be a Greenwood Cemetery, in Bolivar, MO.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
