Minnie Louise Fleming, 86, of Columbia, Missouri passed away Wednesday April 22, 2015 at Parkside Manor, in Columbia. She was born on July 6, 1928 in Warsaw, MO, a daughter of Robert and Stella (Campbell) Gregory, who preceded her in death.
On December 23, 1948 in Sedalia she was united in marriage to Albert E. Fleming, who preceded her in death on November 27, 1993.
She followed her husband Pete for 21 years around the world while he served his country in the US Air Force. After his retirement she continued to enjoy traveling the country with him. She also enjoyed cross stitching, working cross word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Rhonda Church and her husband Larry of Sedalia, Rodney Fleming and his wife Carlene of Lee’s Summit, Diana McCorkle and her husband Gaylon of Sedalia, and Debbie Kratzer and her companion Jim Pitucha, of Ashland, MO; 12 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Verna Lemmon; and a grandson, Billy Wayne Church.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Minister Dustin Wilson officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time at the chapel.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia.
Pallbearers will be Allen Fleming, Dustin Koeller, Garrett McCorkle, Matt Mattes, Michael Boan and Mike Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggest to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
