Obituary For Micheal Lewis Shepherd

Micheal Lewis Shepherd, 42, of Mora, MO passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, as a result of a motorcycle accident south of Sedalia, MO. He was born on September 13, 1978 in Marshall, MO the son of Thomas Charles Shepherd who preceded him in death and Linda L. (Closser) Shepherd who resides in the home.

Micheal was first and foremost a family oriented man. His family was his priority, his mom and sister were his foundation and rock. He loved spending time with his kids when he could. After his dad passed away, he was influential in helping his mom in getting the family farm back in order. He enjoyed going fishing, camping, boating, and being outdoors. Micheal had a great sense of humor and could always bring out the smiles in people. He enjoyed listening and singing to music and loved making his mom dance. Micheal was a loyal friend to many and would always be the first to lend a helping hand to anyone that was in need.

In addition to his mother Linda, he is survived by two children; two brothers, Thomas (Charlie) Shepherd, III. (Sheri) of Laurie, MO, Steven E. Shepherd (Angie) of Pilot Grove, MO; a sister, DaNette M. Shepherd of Mora, MO; nine nieces and nephews, Chrissy, Austin, Dakota, C.J., Preston, Caden, Gage, Reese, Gavin, and Kierra; and six great nieces and nephews, Jaelynn, Xaven, Waylon, Aaron, Gracelyn, and Noah.

Mikey you were the brother I always wanted and needed. When I was young I would pray to God for a brother and he answered my prayers. You are without a doubt the best man I have ever met and I know you'll be waiting at the gates to greet me when it's my turn. I love you brother!
