Mary Twenter

MaryJane Twenter, 76, of Sedalia passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at her home. She was born on April 20, 1940 in Slater, MO, the daughter of Lawrence and Gladys (Shrock) Turner. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Theodore Twenter, Jr. on June 1, 1967 in Miami, OK. MaryJane was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Turner, and her husband, Larry. MaryJane is survived by her mother, Gladys Turner of Slater, MO; her brother, Lawrence Turner of Carlsbad, CA; her sons Lawrence T. Twenter, III of St. Louis, MO and Jeffrey B. Twenter of Sedalia, MO; and her beloved grandchildren Maya and Avery. A private family graveside memorial service will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery on her birthday, April 20, 2017. The family will receive friends from noon until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 23850 Anderson School Rd. Sedalia, MO 65301. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution to Crossroads Hospice Service at 14310 E. 42nd St, Suite 600, Independence, MO 64055. Serving the family, Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia
