Obituary For Mary Lou Richardson

Mary Lou Richardson, 91, of Green Ridge passed away Wednesday November 20, 2019 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. She was born on August 28, 1928 in Irontown, MO the daughter of Henry and Annabell (Henderson) White, who preceded her in death.

On April 30, 1947 in Green Ridge, MO. she was united in marriage to George Richardson, who preceded her in death in December of 2000.

Mary Lou was a member of Green Ridge Presbyterian Church, the Pettis County Extension Club, and was former President of the Green Ridge Alumni Club. She enjoyed oil painting, crocheting baby blankets, and sewing. Mary especially enjoyed going camping and spending time with her family. Mary worked for The Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) in Sedalia for over 20 years.

Survivors include a daughter Georgia Stevens of Green Ridge, MO; a cousin Jess White of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Beau Stevens, Colter Stevens, Lucas Richardson, and Andrew Richardson; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Greg Richardson; two brothers, Paul White and John White; a sister, June Garner.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2019 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dianna Marcum officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Burial will be at Green Ridge Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
