Marla Walters

Marla Jean Walters, 56, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. She was born on May 6, 1958 in Carrollton, MO, a daughter of Marvin and Shirley (Shields) Wheeler.

On December 18, 1980 in Sedalia, MO, she was united in marriage to Kent Walters, who survives of the home.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her father, Marvin Wheeler and his wife Janet, of Carrollton, MO; one son, Justin Walters and his girlfriend, Ashley Williams, of Sedalia; one sister, Mary Jo Westlake of Sedalia; one brother, Matthew Wheeler (Kristine) of Lee’s Summit, MO; and two grandchildren, Gavin and Waylon.

She was preceded in death by her mother and one sister, Merrillyn Brock.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service.
