Mark Goodman

Mark Eugene Goodman (Bug), 60, Green Ridge MO, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Rest Haven Convalescent Home.

He was born on March 28, 1960 in Sedalia a son of Donald Eugene and Roberta Mae (Mabry) Goodman, who preceded him in death.

Mark attended Hughesville School. He loved fishing at Truman Dam, hunting, and NHRA races. He often spoke of the best day of his life was when he was visiting his best friend Shannon Davis in Washington when they went out on a boat ocean fishing. Mark is known for selling fresh produce, homemade salsa, and the prettiest seasonal mums.

Mark is survived by Roscoe, his precious dog and loving companion; ten siblings, Martie Kearney (Terry), Donnie Goodman (Rini), Randy Goodman, Deborah McCaw (Kevin), Ray Marcum Jr. (Deena), Shelly Pettis, Kim Snapp, Becky Miller (David), Terry Goodman (Dana), and Janice Goodman; 22 nieces and nephews; and 31 great nieces and nephews.

Graveside memorial service and burial will be held on 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia, with Pastor Jim Downing officiating.

Urn bearers will be Donald Goodman, Derrick Goodman, Brandon Goodman, Donnie Meloy, and Kenny Meloy.
