Mark Kevin Epstein 64 of Kansas City Missouri passed away peacefully on May 16th at North Kansas City Hospital.
He was born November 24, 1959 to Charles Joseph and Martha Nadine Epstein (Morris).
Growing up, Mark played many sports which came easy to him. He attended Smith Cotton high school, where he learned the trade of carpentry which he utilized throughout his life while working for himself.
Everyone was Mark's friend. He helped everyone and he had the most beautiful smile and eyes and could make you laugh just to listen to him.
He loved his family and friends and will be missed terribly by all who knew him, especially his sister Robin, who fought for him all of his life.
He is survived by the love of his life Michelle Cyr of Kansas City, his children Matthew Epstein, Jaime Miller, Danny Williams, Gage Cyr, Douglas Epstein, and Madison Epstein; a sister, Robin Irwin, of Independence, MO; a brother, David Delapp (Penny), of Sioux City, IA; As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and two best friends, Alan Naylor, and Travis, Wilson, and many other special people.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by two brothers, James Francis and Mike Delapp.
Please remember Mark to be a positive force for all of us. " there are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains."
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
