Obituary For Marie "Toni" Jones

Marie A. "Toni" Jones, 81, of Sedalia, MO passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center. She was born in Sedalia, on March 25, 1940, the daughter of Earl Fowler and Paulette (Siegel) Fowler, who preceded her in death.

On September 2, 1958, in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Harold Curtis Jones, who preceded her in death on January 6, 2018.

Toni was a 1958 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She worked alongside her husband in the swine business, landscaping, and genealogy. Toni enjoyed classical music, Yorkies, and flowers.

Survivors include five children, Kay Fuller (Doug) of Duncan, OK, Marc Jones (Pat) of Tipton, MO, Cindy Redig (Rob) of Stanberry, MO, Steven Jones of Sedalia, and Scott Jones of Sedalia; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bernadette Kelso of Hayes, KS.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Herrick; three brothers, Paul Fowler, Bob Fowler, and Gene Fowler.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Rusty Thomas officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the chapel.

Inurnment will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Fortuna, MO.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Carmel Cemetery Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
