Obituary For Marianna Patrick

Marianna Patrick, 95, of Columbia, IL, formerly of Sedalia, MO, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 9, 2018 at her home. She was born on March 5, 1923 in Knob Noster, MO, the daughter of James and Lena (Wampler) Knight, who preceded her in death.

On March 31, 1942 in Sedalia, MO she was united in marriage to Edwin Wallace Patrick, who preceded her in death.

Marianna had an unassuming ability of bringing joy to those around her. She was the best maker of homemade noodles, ice cream, and pie. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her daughter Nancy Biscan (Tim) of Columbia, IL; four grandchildren, Wendy Patrick, Jason Patrick, Jonathan Biscan, and Jennifer Biscan Prost; five great-grandchildren, Weston Cyril Prost, Theodore Wallace Prost, Elias Gregory Prost, Aria Rose Biscan, and Everly Mae Biscan; her daughter-in-law, April, and many nieces and nephews, especially Mel Skiles.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Patrick and her four siblings, James Knight, Don Knight, Alice Knight, and Louise Skiles.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO, with Rev. Russell Smith and Melvin Ficken officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.

Burial will be at Knob Noster Cemetery, Knob Noster, MO.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Biscan, Kevin Wing, Gary Patrick, Joe Laaker, Randy Hornick, and Robert Holloman.

Honorary bearers will be Carl Arnett, Jason Patrick, and Greg Prost.

Memorial contributions may be made to The United Methodist Church of LaMonte, MO in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
