Obituary For Margie Arnold

Margie Imogene Arnold, 75, of Sedalia passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born on March 29, 1938 in Clinton, MO a daughter of Robert Pierce and Opal Mantonya, who preceded her in death.

She was married to John E. Loucks in 1954, who preceded her in death on September 10, 2008. In Sedalia, on March 30, 1985 she was united in marriage to Ernest F. Arnold, who survives of the home.

She enjoyed shopping at Walmart, going to garage sales, wearing jewelry and watches. Margie was an avid collector of ceramic angels, vases and turtles. She loved going fishing and sun bathing. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sedalia.

She is survived by three children, Connie (Robert) Vermillion of Edwards, MO, Larry Loucks of Sedalia and Jeff Loucks of Sedalia; one sister, Linda (Dennis) Young of Sedalia; one half-sister, Dottie (Nelson) Smith of Calhoun, MO; one brother, Bob (Cathy) Pierce of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Steve Crane, Rhianna Thomas, Chad Hatfield, Ashley Parish and Amber Wilson; and nine great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Ron Loucks; one sister, Sue Ream and one brother, at infancy.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 12, 2013, at The Celebration Center, Sedalia with Rev. Jim Downing and Rev. Jared Wheeler officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at The Celebration Center, Sedalia.

Burial will be at Potter Cemetery, JJ Hwy, rural Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be Steve Crane, Jeff Loucks, Larry Loucks, Rodney Vinson, Chris Thomas and Lee Arnold.

Honorary bearers will be Dennis Young, Harry and Ernestine Todd, Pete and Bonnie Siegel, Johnny and Marylou Smith, Lynn Hatfield, Robert Vermillion and Albert Arnold, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to The Celebration Center or Potter Cemetery in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
